The Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance is proud to announce our 6th annual Winter Sip & Stroll

This popular tasting event will take you along Gig Harbor’s beautiful waterfront, sampling Northwest wines, brews,

spirits, cider, and tasty small bites at over 20  businesses (“Stroll Stops” ).

Tastings at the Sip & Stroll begin at 12pm and end at 4pm, with the popular wine store open until 5pm. The Wine Store is at the registration location 3110 Judson Street (former location of 7 Seas Brewing )

Participants receive a tasting glass, a map of all Stroll Stop locations and their alcohol providers,  and 15 sip tickets for alcohol.

Additional sip tickets will be available for a small fee at the registration desk.

On the day of the event, ticket holders need to register in order to participate and receive their map, sip tickets and wine glass.

Registration is located at  3110 JUDSON ST (former 7 Seas Brewing location) and will open a few minutes before noon.

Wines that you have tasted will be available for sale at the wine store located at the check-in location until 5pm.

You can walk, drive, take the shuttle, or even more fun, ride the Destiny Harbor Tours water taxi to get around to the Stroll Stops.

The Alliance provides complimentary transportation throughout the event, making it easy to visit all of the Stroll Stops along our waterfront. Our shuttles busses will be subject to the City of Gig Harbor construction detour which will require a longer return trip from the Stroll Stops on N. Harborview to the Stroll Stops along Harborview.  Walking the return route from N. Harborview may be more efficient!

Water Taxi - To help offset the potential traffic delays from the construction detour, two complimentary water taxis provided by Destiny Harbor Tours will take you from Jerisich Dock to the Anthony’s Dock and back throughout the afternoon, departing each dock approximately every 30 minutes.  The first run begins at Jerisich Dock at 12:15 with the final run leaving the Anthony’s dock at approximate 4:15pm.  The water taxis will operate rain or shine. Be prepared as the boats are only partially covered.

Shuttles - Several complimentary “Sip & Stroll” shuttles operate a route from one end of town to the other beginning at 12pm.  The shuttles will be subject to the construction traffic detour, meaning that after arriving at the Edward Jones parking lot at the other end of town, near Anthony’s, Morso, and Hawkins-Poe, they will detour back by way of the Burnham overpass and highway 16, lengthening the

trip back by about 15 minutes.   The shuttles will continue to operate until 4:30pm.

Masks may be required to be worn on the shuttles based on public transportation regulations in effect at the time.

Tip:  To avoid some of the crowds that can gather near the check-in location at the start of the event, consider hopping on a shuttle at the bus stop just below check-in on Judson Street and ride over to the Harbor History Museum or the Finholm District where you will find Sip & Stroll sponsor Anthony’s, and more strolls stops at Morso and Hawkins-Poe.  OR, catch the Destiny Harbor Tours water taxi at Jerisich Dock and ride over to Anthony’s to visit the Finholm Stroll Stops.

The Winter Sip & Stroll is presented by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor.
